I’ve come to a conclusion that many people are impressed by the nature of this module….
So I guess I should share some dos and donts in VC okay?
I’ll just concentrate on web page designing…
Lesson 1: Contrast
Contrast exists when there are differences in design elements such as opposing colours, tone or direction.
This can create distinct features to attract attention or promote variation in a design.
-So, just remind urself, contrast not only in colours.
-I’ll introduce to u 2 types of contrast here: colour & direction.
1. Colour:
-try to get a pair of complementary colours on ur site
i.e. 2 colours of opp sides
-
so try to spot nus colours! =p
2. Direction:
top or bottom image is more appealing to you?
-for most ppl, I believe itz e bottom 1
-y? coz at the ctr of e page ders a clear contrast in direction
(rambut prempuan tu roughly perpendicular to the horizontal boxes)
-it attracts viewers attention by using e ‘contrast’ element
-so if u wanna make an object in ur webpage as a focal point, u can use ‘contrast’
i.e. viewers notice it 1st wrt to other objects
Note: there are other elements u can use to make an object dominant in ur webpage
